Just, by Faith!

But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” (Galatians 3:11);   For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26)

When we accept God's free gift of salvation, through faith in Jesus, we can rest assured that we have eternal life with Him in Paradise, even while we're still living on this earth.  We learn in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  We can't see this new life we've received, but the faith we have is the living proof that we have received it.  As a result, we will start bearing visible "spiritual" fruit: we won't be perfect, but we will over time get better and better, until we more resemble Christ.  But as Paul warns in Galatians, don't let anyone come and convince you that you have to "work" to become saved.  Again, you will be led to do good works because you are saved!
