God Ok, but Jesus - Why?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ... And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2); Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; ... (Genesis 1:26)  This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, ... (Genesis 2:4)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was [Lord] God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:1-3); And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14); No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. (John 1:18) ...it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form ... upon Him, and a voice came from heaven [God the Father] which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:21:22)

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. (Colossians 1:15-17)

The historical accuracy of the scriptures has been proven beyond a doubt.  No other book or collection of books in history has had more historical information confirmed or phrophecies come to fruition.  The Christian Research Institute shares many examples with their M-A-P-S Guide.  If the 66 Books of the Bible, written by 40 different authors over a period of 4100 years, is so accurate about so many historial facts and details, why would we not believe all that God says.  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable... (II Timothy 3:16);  And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (II Peter 1:19-20)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
