The twelve minor prophet books of the Bible are: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi. They are considered minor prophet books because of their size, but their content holds major truth and information.
Over the next few weeks, we will be studying each of these books. There may not be a daily post because it takes time to study and cross reference. Our goal is to present the Word of God accurately, so that we may be able to apply what we learn to our daily lives, as we grow in our faith and understanding: Blessed is the man ... [whose] delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2); Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)
The study begins with the book of Hosea... And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms:... (Hosea 1:2) WHAT???
