WISDOM (Proverbs): From Creation to Now!

“The Lord made me at the beginning of His work, before His first works long ago. I was set apart long ago, from the beginning, before the earth was. I was born when there were no seas, when there were no pools full of water. I was born before the mountains and hills were in their places. It was before He had made the earth or the fields, or the first dust of the world. (Proverbs 8:22-26 NLV)

Who was in the beginning, with God the Creator and Father? In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2) Then God said, “Let... (Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24, 26) Who was in the beginning with God? The Spirit of God and the Word of God!  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GodHe was in the beginning with God. (John 1:1-2) Who is Wisdom, Who is the Word of God? And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. (John 1:18) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. (Colossians 1:15-17)

I was there when He made the heavens, and when He drew a mark around the top of the sea. I was there when He put the skies above, and when He put the wells of the waters in their place. I was there when He marked out the places for the sea, so that the waters would not go farther than what He said. I was there when He marked out the ground for the earth. (Proverbs 8:27-29 NLV; Genesis 1:3-2:3) If Christ Jesus was there from the beginning, why doesn't the Bible say so?  But it does.  He has many names and titles used throughout scripture: Shiloah, Star of Jacob, Sceptre, Prophet, Redeemer, Son of God, Holy One, King, High Priest, Stone, Rose of Sharon, Lilly of the Valleys, Emmanuel, Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Branch, Jehovah, Ancient of Days, Messiah, Judge, Desire of All Nations, Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham, Governor, Son of Man, Bridegroom, Master, Dayspring, Savior, Word, Creator, Light, Lamb of God, Only Begotten Son, Bread of Life, I AM, Door, Good Shepherd, Resurrection, Way, Truth, Life, Vine, Prince, Just One, Lord, Deliverer, Passover, Rock, Second Adam, Husband, Beloved, Our Peace, Chief Corner Stone, Head of the Church, Mediator, Man, God, Captain of Our Salvation, Apostle, Author and Finisher, Great Shepherd, Bishop, Chief Shephard, Daystar, Eternal Life, Advocate, First Begotten of the Dead, Alpha and Omega, Almighty, First and Last, Amen, Faithful and True Witness, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Root of David, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Faithful and True, Bright and Morning Star, Beginning and End!

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;..."  (Genesis 1:26) Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. (Genesis 2:1-3) The name and title for Christ Jesus used in the beginning is Lord God. God the Father and Creator was the architect, He spoke the Word, of everything He wanted in His creation.  Lord God, the Son was the builder, and He brought all things to manifestion, into physical existence. This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavensbefore any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:4-7)

Christ was in the beginning with God, not in the flesh of a body named Jesus, but in His original Holy and glorious body, as He professed, when He prayed to God the Father before his crucifiction, "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." (John 17:5) Christ Jesus was the first "willing-worker"! I was beside Him as the leading workman. I was His joy every day. I was always happy when I was near Him. I was happy in the world, His earth, and found joy in the sons of men. (Proverbs 8:22-31 NLV) God Himself made the way so you can have new life through Christ Jesus. God gave us Christ to be our wisdom. Christ made us right with God and set us apart for God and made us holy. Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from our sins. (I Corinthians 1:30 NLV)

Wisdom speaks boldly and accurately! God gave us Christ to be our wisdom. Christ Jesus is the Wisdom of God and the Wisdom from God, The Word of God! “So now, O sons, listen to me, for happy are they who keep my ways. Hear my teaching and be wise. Do not turn away from it. Happy is the man who listens to me, watching every day at my gates, waiting beside my doors. For he who finds me finds life, and gets favor from the Lord. But he who misses me hurts himself. All those who hate me love death.” (Proverbs 8:1-36 NLV) Either we wil be wise and choose eternal life, or unwise and choose eternal death.  Choose Wisdom today, choose Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord! Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
