LEVITICUS: Christ Jesus is the "Showbread" and the "Lampstand"; "Make the lamps burn continually; it shall be a statute forever. Take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the Lord."

"The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side." (Exodus 26:33-35)

The Lord God had finished giving the laws and commandments to the children of Israel, along with the instructions regarding the sacrifices for offerings and the rules of for the priests.  He would explain again their priestly duties regarding the lampstand and the table of showbread, which were located within the tabernacle, outside the veil.

Originally the Lord God had said, regarding the lampstand, “And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel." (Exodus 27:20-21)

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually. Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations. He shall be in charge of the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually. (Leviticus 24:1-4)

When the Lord God had given the instructions regarding the making of the table of showbread, He said, "And you shall set the showbread on the table before Me always." (Exodus 25:30)

Now, He would reiterate, “And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake. You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord. And you shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the Lord. Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the offerings of the Lord made by fire, by a perpetual statute.” (Leviticus 24:5-9)

There were a lot of rituals within the service and ministering of the tabernacle; indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary;... (Hebrews 9:1-2) Most traditional churches are set up with an area called the sanctuary, where there is a table to hold the holy communion and some may even have a lampstand.

The table with the showbread and the lampstand was a ...copy and shadow of the heavenly things,... (Hebrews 8:5) Christ Jesus is the true "showbread", without "leaven", being without sin, and He made this connection clear when He instituted the Lord's Supper, the Holy Communion; And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” (Matthew 26:26; Mark 14:22)

Christ Jesus is also the true "lampstand", Whose light never goes out, and we who have put our faith and trust in Christ Jesus as are Savior and Lord are the branches from the lampstand. As the Apostle John recorded when describing Christ Jesus, Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. (Revelations 1:12-13)

Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One also have something to offer. For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law;... But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (Hebrews 8:1-6) AMEN!
